Brief Answer:
Consultation

Detailed Answer:
Hello, and thanks for your question.

Schizophrenia can be successfully treated with medication. For people for whom adherence to taking medication is a problem, you can consider long-acting injectable medication, which stays in the system for up to a month at a time and does not require the patient to take oral pills. These medications include risperidone, haloperidol, and aripiprazole. I'd talk the doctor about one of these injectable meds.
