Suggest Treatment For Scrotum And Thigh Pain

Question: I have recently increased the amount of water I'm drinking and now having pain in the scrotum and the back of my thighs. Should I cut back on the water
Brief Answer:
not related to water consumption
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
the water consumption has nothing to do with any kind of pain. Water consumption is normally modulated by thirst. So the best thing to do is to drink as much as your body wants you to, that is enough to avoid becoming thirsty. Drinking more than needed may cause electrolyte imbalance and is not recommended. A reasonable consumption ranges between 1.5 and 2.0 liters per day but it depends on physical activity and sweating, losses due to various causes (including fever), etc.
Scrotal pain requires investigation for urinary tract infection, tumors, hernias and other potential causes.
I hope it helps!
Kind Regards!
