my another query is that, day by day, i am suffering from face scaring, which i can recognise from some months. i visited a doc. before 5-6 months, he gave me aderline nano gel, then after some days, retino a 0.05 for scaring. i faced difficulty in the beginning but for 3-4 months retino a is working as i feel. but, for 9-10 days i had not used retino a and i can recognise my scars had developed more and i want to minimise it and also control it. i also went 2 sessions of dermarllr 2 months back. my face cheeks are worsening day by day. what to do. please suggest me in detail.
Seborrheic Dermatitis and Microdermabrasion for Acne Scaring.
Detailed Answer:
Hello. Thank you for writing to us
I have gone through your query and I have also reviewed the Image.
You seem to have seborrheic dermatitis of scalp which can present as red, scaly patches as well as itching.
Beside using an antidandruff shampoo I suggest you to also use a topical steroid+salicylic acid lotion. e.g topical -3 % solution, twice daily, at affected sites on scalp.
You may also take a tablet of levocetrizine 10 mg once daily in evening for symptomatic relief from itching.
Regarding acne scaring, you seem to have a mild scaring. You may continue with retino- a 0.05% cream, once daily at night.
Besides, you may also take a few sessions of Microdermabrasion. A session of Microdermabrasion, is usually form once every 2 weeks. The mechanism by which microdermabrasion works is by remodelling existing scars into cosmetically more acceptable ones.

some time back i was given noskurff lotion for dandruff and itching, twice a week. i had used it yesterday. can i continue to use it or shall i stop using it.
sometimes, i feel regular usage of retino a causes some red allergy types reactions like, red itching on both side of nose. if i stop 1-2 days then it goes away. is retino a, the best anti-scar cream available? as cheeks remains slightly red. if any other.
besides all this, i also use cetaphil face wash, sebowash shampoo.
Change to steroid+salicylic acid lotion;Use lower strength tretinoin 0.025%
Detailed Answer:
Hi.
These patches on scalp would not respond to noskurf lotio. may discontinue Noskurf for the time being and rather use a topical steroid+salicylic acid lotion, as suggested.
Retino-A contains tretinoin, which has an irritant potential. Therefore, some redness is expected, specially at the start of therapy. If you feel it is too strong for you, you may switch to a lower strength i.e retino a 0.025% Or you may use retino - 0.05% every alternate nights.
Retino- a is a an effective antiscar treatment. The only one which is tried and tested.
You may continue with cetaphil cleansing lotion and with the shampoo. Its perfect.
