Suggest Treatment For Seizures
Question: What are the best medications to treat seizures you are in the internal medicine field I do realize that however I'm pretty sure that you have dealt with seizures in the past in the emergency room or on a medicine floor what have you experienced was the best medicines to treat them?

I have seen and treated lots of patients of epilepsy in my carrier.
There are good antiepileptic drugs in today's medicine.
Their efficacy depend on type of epilepsy like grand mal or petitmal or myoclonic. They have to be appropriately selected based on nature of disease.
All time tested drug for epilepsy are Valproate, Oxcarbazepine, Phenytoin and Levetiracetam to name a few.

I have more of both however grad Mal more then myoclonic

I think you need to get assessed by a local neurologist. It is unusual to have grand mal and myoclonus together.
Let the neurologist judge.
If really both then Valproate makes good choice. But you have to get checked if you are otherwise fit for this drug.
