??Dermatitis, neurologic condition, photosensitivity
Detailed Answer:
Hello ma'am and welcome.
Thank you for writing to us.
I have gone through your query with diligence and would like you to know that I am here to help. I understand how your presentation can be frustrating, and I am here to provide you with as much information as I can.
To start with, I feel your presentation could be related to any of the following conditions:
+Atopic dermatitis: In the affected regions, the skin can appear to be bumpy and similar to that of an allergic reaction; but this condition is not caused by allergies
+Photosensitivity: Regions of your body exposed to the sun could develop a rash or sensitivity that can appear to look like a rash
+Neurological condition: If there is no rash at all, then there is a good chance this could be related to some neurological abnormality. Most dermatological conditions present with tenderness, redness, rash, etc; but if there is an increased sensitivity to any particular region with no apparent dermatological presentation then a neurological cause will indefinitely have to be ruled out
+Fibromyalgia: Sensitivity and pain without the appearance of a rash is also commonly seen in patients with fibromyalgia
There are a few other conditions on the list, but they are all assumptions and can easily be ruled out/confirmed when you visit your doctor for an elaborate evaluation. As you must have noted I would like you to visit three specialists:
1. Neurologist
2. General physician (GP)
3. Dermatologist
If you do not mind me putting forward a request, I would like to request for you to attach images of the affected regions to our discussion for my examination. If you do not mind, then you can go ahead and attach clear images to our discussion here or email them to ' YYYY@YYYY '. Please make sure you mentioned 'ATTN: Dr. Shoaib Khan' in the subject line.
I hope you find my response both helpful and informative. Please feel free to write back to me for any further clarifications, I would be more than happy to help.
Best wishes.
