Suggest Treatment For Sensorineural Hearing Loss

Question: Dear Sir
I was facing a problem in my left year. I constantly hear high frequency sound for last 1.5 years. However, in last two months I was feeling a loss in hearing in my left year.
I consulted an ENT doctor and he suspected weakness of nerves. He got the PTA and Audiometry tests. It showed significant loss in hearing of left ear. I am uploading the report.
I am concerned that whether any cure is available for this and can any medication help me getting any improvement?
Further, will my right ear be affected eventually?
What precautions do I need to take?
Can i plug the left ear to protect it from loud noises?
Please help.

Brief Answer:
no cure for it.
Detailed Answer:
Hi and welcome,
Your audiogram shows sensorineural hearing loss. There is no treatment currently available for this kind of hearing loss. You can go for a hearing aid.
Your right ear is looking very healthy currently. There is no way to predict if the right ear will get affected in the near future.
The only precautions that you can take is keep diabetes and hypertension under control if you are suffering from these diseases.
Plugging the normal ear is not required.

Dear Doctor Madam
Thanks for the prompt reply.
Can I start any medication to keep the affected ear at the same level of deterioration and prevent further damage.
Further, I was referring to plugging the affected left ear as it gets quiet uncomfortable in vicinity of loud noices.
Thanks and regards
