You are right, these symptoms are not seen in simple pink eye.

Detailed Answer:
Hello
Welcome to Health care magic

I am Dr. DADAPEER K, an Ophthalmologist and I will be answering your question.

I reviewed your history.

The symptoms suggested by you indicate acute red eye.
In simple pink eye there will be no pain and sensitivity to light. Hence this is not simple pink eye.

This can be because of pink eye with complications like punctate keratitis or uveitis.
Please mention the symptoms in detail like
Mode of presentation
associated symptoms like watering, discharge, headache...

If possible do send me a photo of the affected eye so that I confirm the diagnosis and advice you accordingly.

As of now you need to start antibiotic eye drops like Moxifloxacin eye drops. Further treatment need to be done under supervision of ophthalmologist after confirming the diagnosis.

If possible do send me a photo of the affected eye so that I confirm the diagnosis and advice you accordingly.

Hope I have answered your question and the information is helpful to you.
Do write back to me for further questions.

Thank you
With regards
