Brief Answer:
More tests, alternative antispasmodic drug.

Detailed Answer:
Hello and thanks for your query.

I shall make an effort to provide you with good professional recommendations specific to your questions.

2 weeks is good enough time for your prescribed medications to act in case infection is the cause. Since, you seem to get no relief even on taking these for some time, do discuss for more potent antispasmodic drugs which should bring relief immediately. You might need injection or two if tablets are of no help.

Alternatively, discuss the necessity of an abdominal ultrasound if pain has not relieved even minutely till date. Sometimes, there can be other reasons apart from infections which can cause the symptoms.

Go on a bland semi solid diet until this clears out. No fizzy or spicy stuff.

Do not worry much, as this seems to be of acute nature of weeks and should hopefully resolve soon. Watch on the stools type and color and report to your doctor if any new symptoms. If your general condition is good now, apart from pain then above discussed points would help.

Let me know if I have missed out any other concern in your question.

Yet again, I duly appreciate your query to me, I do hope that you have found something useful to help you and I shall be glad to answer any further apprehensions.

Sincerely,

Brief Answer:
Yes. Need to take as advised.

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for the follow up.

Yes, you can take both the muscle relaxant and the antibiotic as prescribed. You should get some relief after some doses.

Don't stop the antibiotics midway, complete the entire course as advised.

Let me know of further queries.
