Brief Answer:
Endoscopy and 24hr pH study is required

Detailed Answer:
Hello, Madam.

I can certainly understand your concern.

I have worked through your query in detail.

LPR in your case seem to be modestly severe. It requires combination of both medical and later surgical correction.

This condition is not related to cancer or other any malicious disorder.Hence I appeal to you not to get anxious.

The difficulty in swallowing is directly related to LPR.

To formulate the accurate therapeutic guidelines in your case, I advise you to get an upper GI Endoscopy and a 24 hr pH study has to be done.

Based on the test results, further management whether medical or surgical will be decided.

Meanwhile, suggest you few non pharmacological interventions to improve symptoms in your case.

1.Decrease the size of portions at mealtimes.

2.Meals should be eaten 2-3 hours before lying down.

3.Avoid food and beverages (eg, fried or fatty foods, chocolate, peppermint, alcohol, coffee, carbonated beverages, citrus fruits or juices, tomato sauce, ketchup, mustard, vinegar).

4.Eat at a slower pace

I also advise you to follow a multidisciplinary approach by consulting an ENT surgeon, Gastroenterologist and a Speech Therapist .

Post your further queries if any.
Thank you.

Brief Answer:
Symptoms are hardly related to cancer.

Detailed Answer:
Hello, Madam.

I can understand your concern.

I don't think your symptoms point to any cancer.

Malignancy is unlikely for your age.It can be associated with gross malnourishment through rapid weight loss, which is absent in your case.

But nevertheless you have being investigated extensively through Endoscopy and 24hr pH monitor which can hardly miss any diagnosis.

Get these tests and update me with results.

Post your further queries if any.
Thank you
