I understand that sometime it becomes necessary to take more than one tablet but I request you to limit intake of lorazepam 4-6 mg per day. More than this can cause dizziness and cognitive impairment which have its own problems.

I am glad to know that you are seeing your doctor your tomorrow. He will ask some details and may run some tests to rule out the organic cause of anxiety. Once it is confirmed he may prescribe anti anxiety medications for long term management of condition.
