Question: Hello doctor , I've been having some feelings lately and i feel really weird. I don't feel comfortable around people. I stopped going to uni for almost a month. and I overthink about the smallest things! i even failedin the exams even though I study hard. i forget everything. and i have difficulties losing weight. I don't know what doctor should i go to. please help. and I don't drink or do drugs
Im a student in the uk and i never been to a doctor here , because i dont know whats wrong with me

Hello and thank you for your question.
It sounds like you are developing some sort of anxiety disorder. This can really disrupt your life, but these conditions just like other medical conditions, are very treatable.
I suggest that you start with a GP and let them know exactly what is going on. They can try you on a medication and perhaps suggest some counseling to help decrease the anxiety.
If needed after they do an evaluation they can refer you to a specialist.
Don't keep suffering, seek help as soon as you can.
Whatever is going on, it is treatable. Seek help right away.
