Suggest Treatment For Severe Arthritis
Question: I have had swelling and pain in my right knee since before Thanksgiving. I saw an orthopedic surgeon the week before Christmas and received an injection in my knee. I had X-rays and was told I have arthritis. The injection did not make a lot of difference, but my knee has slowly improved as long as I restrict my activities and do not do a lot of walking. I do not like to take medicine but do take Aleve when the pain is worse. What should I do next. I really do not want to have surgery or take pain medication.
