Suggest Treatment For Severe Back Pain That Radiates To Legs

Question: I have severe back pain which radiates down through my legs to both knees. Four of the five lumbard disks have been fused. Surgeon and pain doctor say that scar tissue and arthurits are restricting the ciatic nerve which is causing the leg pain. Have done everything that they recommend and more. Injections are only tempoary. Pain doctor recommends placing a neurostimulator in the back for relief surgeon says no but only as last option as they arenot that reliable. What is your recommendation ?
Brief Answer:
buprenorphine 5 mg transdermal patch
Detailed Answer:
Hi
I would advise buprenorphine 5 mg transdermal patch for controlling your back pain.
You can apply one patch to a dry, non-irritated, non-hairy area of your skin on your upper body such as your chest, upper back, or the outside of your arms.
Leave it in place for seven days and then remove it and replace it with a new patch, but apply the replacement patch to a different area of skin on your upper body.
Avoid using the area from where you have removed the patch for at least three weeks. Continue to replace your patches once a week, on the same day of the week.
