Suggest Treatment For Severe Back Pain While Treating Spinal Scoliosis
Get MRI, and visit a neurologist for detailed examination
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
I have gone through your question and understand your concerns.
Back pain with leg involvement may be due to lumbosacral radiculopathy or lumbar canal stenosis.
The nerves to lower limb arises from back region and any problem there can involve legs too.
It is advisable to get evaluated in detail by a neurologist.
Probably a MRI of the lumbosacral spine may be needed to look for any abnormalities.
For treatment physiotherapy under guidance and drugs may help.
You can take pregabalin or gabapentin or amitryptiline for pain modulation under the guidance of your treating neurologist.
Short course of pain killers and muscle relaxant may also be taken.
Hope you found the answer helpful.
