Suggest Treatment For Severe Back Pain
Question: I have an extreme pain on my left side back. From my waist thru my hip and down into my leg.

Pain in the left side on back could be due to Left sided Ureteric stone.Ultrasound abdomen will give a clue.If Ureteric stone is excluded,then other possibilities should be considered.
Radiating pain from Hip to the leg starting from waist could be due to Sciatica , where sciatic nerve gets entrapped.CT scan of the Lumbo sacral spine will confirm the diagnosis.
Please consult your doctor and proceed further.
Till investigations,I will prescribe Skeletal muscle relaxant tablet containing Thiocolchicoside 4mg twice daily after food to my patients with similar complaints.
