Suggest Treatment For Severe Body Ache, Excessive Urination And Fever

It may cure. Kindly see detailed answer.
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
I can understand your concern. As per your history and as doctor already diagnosed, so it may be urinary tract infection. tab. cepodem 200 mg is a broad spectrum antibiotic and it can be used in urinary tract infection. So don't worry. Let me know please whether she has burning micturition, blood in urine? kindly follow up with details.
I'd suggest you to do urine analysis, urine culture sensitivity, complete blood count and ultrasound abdomen and pelvis if not done earlier. Kindly follow up with reports. Along with that you can take tab. flavoxate 200 mg, syp. disodium hydrogen citrate or syp. neeri 10 ml after consultation with your doctor. Drink lot of fluids. Continue other medications like anti pyretic and painkiller as prescribed by your doctor. I think this will clarify your concern. take care.

1)There is no burning when passing urine and there is no blood. Only symptom is she when she has water and within few minutes she has to urinate very frequently & difficult to control. She is getting 101.4 fever. What is the problem she is has. Is this symptom of UTI?
2)Now since she has already had 2 doses of cepodem 200 does it make sense to do urine analysis, urine culture sensitivity, complete blood count and ultrasound abdomen and pelvis.
3)Doctor told her to also have Vizylac twice a day. Can you please confirm what is the treatment for this problem. When we are reading up online treatment plan for UTI these medicines are not coming. We need to know what to do.
Kindly see detailed answer.
Detailed Answer:
Hello and welcome back.
Thanks for the reply. As she has high grade fever, frequency of micturation, difficult to control, so all these are the symptoms of UTI.
Ideally urine routine and culture sensitivity test should be done before starting any antibiotics, but you can do now also. If we found significant findings in the report, then we can change the antibiotics as per the report. I'd suggest you to do ultrasound abdomen and pelvis to rule out other possibilities like bladder stone.
Vizylac is helpful to improve local immunity, so you can continue.
As she does not not have control on urination, you can give tab. Flavoxate 200 mg after consultation. Kindly continue all measures as explained earlier. I think this will clarify your concern. Take care.
