Suggest Treatment For Severe Body Pain And Diarrhea
Question: I think my husband is having an alergic reaction to working with mahogany while his dust collector was out of order in his workshop. He is chilling and having body aches and pains especially in his upper legs and diarrhea. What would be the best treatment? I have given him some DayQuil for cold and flu.

Dayquil would not help with the allergy, because it doesn't have the anti-histaminic component which is the one used for allergy.
I would suggest taking tablet Cetirizine 10mg or Loratadine 10mg once to twice daily for the time being.
If not better within a while, then I would suggest going to the ER or to the local physician for a prompt check-up. It may not necessarily be an allergic reaction, but can be also poisoning from the absorption of the smells/substances while he was working. Let him breath only in the fresh open air.
Also, it can be a viral infection causing diarrhea mostly. So if he has also any episodes of fever, we can confirm it.
