Question: No, I stayed in town with current wife. Too many things that I needed to do here. I hope to go home over next few weeks.

In my home up in South XXXXXXX I have fitness equipment perfect for my issue. I have a very good Treadmill and I have a very good cardio stepper I once used them often. then when I moved here, I could not bring and have gone very lazy.

Oh, I have asked before but I forgot, why is it i breath better and am more comfortable on my back than standing or sitting.

Thats the opposite of someone with lung disease to isnt it.

Brief Answer:
This is strange.

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for your follow up question on Healthcare Magic.
I can understand your concern.
This observation of yours is strange.
Yes, you are right. Normally, standing and sitting position give good feeling for breathing as compare to supine (lying down) position.
But in your case, I think lesser stress in lying down position causes less breathing difficulty.
This is just my opinion. I may be wrong.
Are you agreed on this?

Well I had a good day yesterday until I started to relax in the evening after a short bike ride.

I had a group therapy session on Tuesday and had been told that my medical condition resembled asthma that is exacerbated by anxiety. So I took heed and yes I had a good day until after the bike ride. So I must try to reduce anxiety and inflammation and we will see what happens

Don't believe their diagnosis. You are not having asthma.
In that group who told you such diagnosis?
All are suffered from anxiety? Or few of them suffered from asthma and COPD?

It would be my choice because I think they eventually plan to get rid of me and my health is miserable while there. Actually it's miserable while I'm in this home and not mine

FUN!!!!

Say I have a odd question for you. I was with a fellow musician yesterday talking. It seems he has asthma, had it for many years. Any way the topic of asthma and lung disease symptoms came up. The topic was on how fast changes can take place. We both agreed that they are not alike and that asthma can take years to acquire but attacks come suddenly. What we didn't know is how fast on average does copd symptoms change in severity or move to a new stage. Suddenly as in weeks or a few months or longer.

Brief Answer:
This depends on patients risk factors.

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for your follow up question on Healthcare Magic.
I can understand your concern.
For COPD, progress depends on risk factors and exposure.
If smoking is a risk factor then patient who continues to smoke will deteriorate rapidly.
But in him/her also, deterioration is in months not in weeks.
So you can say that COPD is slowly deteriorating disease, not deteriorating in weeks.
May I ask you why you discuss about COPD and not asthma?
