Suggest Treatment For Severe Bronchitis
Question: I'm suffering from severe bronchitis n under treatment. I nebulize but in a few few hours l become breathless. Please advise me. Thanks.

I was in the habit of smoking in my prime years but stopped it for the past two years. I developed this disease of ( bronchitis ,asthma,copd )breathlessness around 8yrs back .It started when I got stressed due to family reasons. I got admitted in a hospital in 2014jan.n Feb.2015 due to difficulty in breathing. I got ATT. from March.2015 toNov.2015 .I feel helpless now.pl.advise n help me live a better life.

You are having very severe obstructive Airway defect.

I can understand your concern.
By your spirometry report, it is obvious that you are having very severe obstructive Airway defect.
And this report is of 2014. So your current PFT will even much worse.
In my opinion, you are not doing regular follow up with pulmonologist because PFT is required every six monthly in such cases.
You are also having cor pulmonale mostly.
It is right sided heart failure seen in very severe bronchitis.
This can also add to symptoms.
So please let me know
1. Do you follow up regularly by pulmonologist?
2. Have you ever undergone 2d echo for the diagnosis of cor pulmonale?
3. What is your oxygen saturation in resting as well as exertion?
