Hi

I understand your concern regarding your skin problem and I hope I am able to help you in the same.
You seem to have developed post chicken pox scars .
In most cases ,these do not need any treatment and they tend to improve on there own .
The medicines that you have mentioned are useful for pigmented scars .
I would like to have a look at the exact skin condition.
Please click some close up pictures of the affected area and upload them here on this page.
I am sure I will be able to help you better once you provide me the pictures.

Hi! Dr. Thank you. I have sent an image of my scars. Yes, I have severe post scar pigmentation hence the doctor has recommended ointments. But is it safe to use both these one after the other? They have been prescribed by two different Dermatologists. Can you also suggest any useful home remedies for this? I shall be grateful!
Hello dr. XXXXXXX I had sent you the image as well as a messgae about an hour ago. No response yet!!

Take treatment as advised

Detailed Answer:
Hi again

I have seen the attached pictures .
You seem to have developed pigmented post chicken pox scars .
You can use clear ultra cream in morning over the pigmented areas and apply cosmelite cream at night .
Use a medicated sunscreen with spf more than 26 regularly before going out in the sun .Apply it atleast thirty minutes before going out and re apply every three hourly. This will prevent any further pigmentation over the scars .
Take oral vitamin c supplements daily once for early recovery .

Hope it helps

Thanks a ton! As I understand correctly, I can use Clearz ultra in the day along with a sunscreen (suncros by ranbaxy) and I can apply Comelite for thirty minutes at night. Right? Yes, I have been taking vitamin c and e supplements and drink plenty of fluids including coconut water everyday! How long do you think the scars shouldctake to fade considerably? Thanks again!

Brief Answer:
Scars might take time to fade completely

Detailed Answer:
Hi again

Apply clearz ultra over the scars first in the morning ,leave it for ten minutes and then apply the sunscreen .
Use cosmelite at night .
Since the scars are very dark ,they might take atleast four to sex weeks to fade considerably.
Include lots of citrus fruits in your diet .
Take fresh fruits and salads .
