Question: I have a friend who does herion and is very constipated. I just gave her a enema but no liquid is coming out.what can I do to help her expel the enema. Do I need to take her to hospital?

Your friend must be severely constipated as the role of enema fluid is that it gets absorbed by the surrounding stool and softens it to facilitate to come out.
Maybe the enema fluid you have given is not enough to soften her stool.
Please wait for half an hour to one hour if she doesn't pass motion, it must be impacted and may need manual evacuation by a doctor.
