Brief Answer:
Likely to be due to a viral infection.

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for asking on HealthcareMagic.

Most often such presentations are due to viral respiratory tract infections. Himalaya Septilin is good and can be given. You may continue giving Relent for a few more days. Relent has a sedative action and the dose can be increased to 5 ml. Antibiotics are ineffective in viral infections and so I would not recommend giving antibiotics. If you are apprehensive, get his blood counts and C-Reactive Protein level checked. Antibiotics are to be give only if they are raised.

Brief Answer:
3-5 days usually

Detailed Answer:
Giving Relent for 3-5 days usually suffices. I do not think that you need to give it for more than 7 days (from when you started).

Feel free to revert back in case of further queries.

Brief Answer:
Can be given.

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for writing back. Xyzal M can be given. It is better than Relent but has less sedative action. The dose of Xyzal M would be 5ml once daily.
