Brief Answer:
Needs medical examination and Xray if needed

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

Thanks for writing to us.

If your child is suffering for 7 to 8 days and cough has become worse now then it indicates she is not responding to your current treatment.

Don't give maxtra and zyrcold together. Both have antihistamines and it is better to give one only preferably maxtra as it has decongestants too.

Even without fever, your child needs medical examination and Xray, if indicated to rule out chest infection and to assess the severity of Wheezing.

Possibilities include
A. Wheeze associated chest infection. This may require antibiotics.
B. Exacerbated Wheezing. This might need a short course of oral or inhaled steroids.

Milk is safe for now. But sometimes kids may be allergic to milk.
If you notice symptoms worsening after milk then skip for time being.
Allergy test specific IgE for milk will confirm if she has milk allergy.
Infact you can get allergy testing done for specific IgE to find out what food she is allergic to.

Does your child suffer frequently?
If so your child may benefit from basic tests like chest xray and mantoux to rule out primary complex.

It is better to get her checked up before your vacation
Wishing your child good health.

Dr Arun
