Suggest Treatment For Severe Cough And Cold
Question: Hi there.
I am male aged 38 years of age.
I recentky had a cold and a flu type condition last week.
Its started on tuesday and it still is there but getting a little better.
However while i had this cold/flu - i lost my sense of smell and also taste due to the blocked nose etc.
My nose and cough has cleared up alightly but my taste is slightly better but not perfect however my sense of smell has totally gone even though my is getting better slightly.
Can yiu help?
Could this be the causes of this cold?
And how long could this last?

Water in form of vapour will reach deep inside and will help in dilute the thickened mucus. It will help to normalize the sense of smell as well as taste (which are related). Also take some antiallergic like cetirizine once daily for the next few days. Take rest and plenty of fluids to drink.
You need not worry. Hopefully it would be get well soon. You would need to seek additional medical help in case of respiratory distress or wheezing.
