Suggest Treatment For Severe Cough, Shingles And Yellow Drainage From Sinuses

Question: I had the shingles shot a couple yrs ago. Was recently down with a horrible cough. After 10 days I went to walk in clinic yesterday. Had some yellow drainage from sinuses. Sinus passages were still swollen. Was prescribed antibiotic, a nasal spray and an antihistamine for a slight rashy itching across my chest. Cough and swelling are better but what is this rashy stuff???
Thanks for your reply,
I know one can still get shingles even if you had the shot. Or, could it be a yeast infection? I have no vaginal symptoms at this time, roof of mouth feels a bit irritated also. I have no rashy symptoms anywhere else on my body.

Hi and thank you so much for this query.
I am so sorry to hear about these symptoms that you have reported. Yes, you can still have shingles after vaccination. I will suggest that you send an image of this rash for review as shingles has characteristic representation that can be seen on inspection. There is a link to upload new file to the right on your users' interface.
I hope to hear from you and until then, I wish you well.

I am unable to get a clear view of this rash using my phone. It just does not come out clear enough. It has NO blistering and I am suspicious that I may have a yeast infection or the rash got worse with use of the Azithromycin 250 mg. I will be going to the XXXXXXX walkin clinic tomorrow morning.
Thank you,
