Suggest Treatment For Severe Dizziness, Headache And Tingling Sensation In The Hand
Question: Last February my friend, a 48 year old woman, inadvisably submitted to an injection of Juvederm in her forehead. In May she had Botox injection, which she had had previously on several occasions. During the summer she complained of dizziness lasting up to several hours at a time, tingling and reduced mobility in one hand, and headache. These symptoms passed. Then she began to complain of changes in her face -- sunken looking eyes, the unprecedented visibility of veins, etc. She said her scalp felt tight. More recently she has complained of discoloration of her face, but it is the slightest darkening, like a suntan. She has also been sensitive to light for some time. Several years ago, she broke her nose and had reconstructive rhinoplasty. Now her nose appears to be narrowing. She has some nosebleeds and difficulty breathing through it. About six weeks ago, she received hyluronidase injections to her chin and cheeks and forehead. They seemed to have minimal effect. I understand that she should be examined and tests should be run. She had a basic blood test, which was utterly normal except for slightly elevated glucose level. She had MRI which was read and showed nothing unusual but possible evidence of migranes -- which she has never experienced. Any thoughts?
