Brief Answer:
Please follow up with an allergist.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,

The most likely possibility is that you are now allergic to shell fish. While any food can be allergenic, shell fish is one of the most common. I highly recommend you see an allergist and be tested for shellfish allergy.

Another possibility is that you had an episode of food poisoning from contaminated food, although usually there is vomiting and diarrhea with food poisoning. This can cause light headedness, nausea, sweating, and feeling like you might faint.

The last possibility (lower on my list) is that it was a cardiac event - even if your EKG was ok. But usually there would be evidence of cardiac strain on the EKG if it was done at the time of or shortly after the episode.

I hope this information helps.
