Suggest Treatment For Severe Dry Cough

Question: Since 1 week in am suffering with high dry cough. What shall i do??

I had gone through your question and understand your concerns that you are having cough. I would like to ask you few more details.

Is your cough associated with wheeze ?
Is there any fever or nasal blockage ?

Based in your clinical details, it appears to be allergic bronchitis.

I suggest you to consult ent surgeon, get detailed ent examination. if necessary blood test and x-ray chest( 1 week old cough). Depending on the examination, treatment can be started.

Mean time, start antiallergic medication like tab. cetrizine 10mg one tab at bed time, steam inhalation twice daily. Please get the tablet prescribed by your doctor.

Light fever comes at night time. There is no wheeze.
