Suggest Treatment For Severe Dryness Of Penile Skin

Question: hi there.. i have the bottom part of my penis is dry.. it periodically comes now and again and is like little scally skin... sometimes worse if i masterbate..? happend for the past few years? what should i do? does this happen as you get older in age? how do i eliminate this from happening anymore

I am Dr Saad Sultan and will be answering your query.

I have read and understood your health concerns.
It is important to do a clinical examination to draw a reasoned conclusion. Kindly send any photograph of it. It may be due to allergy, eczema , sexually transmitted disease, fungal infection , psoriasis .

You should see your physician immediately if you have anyone of following complaint.
Intense itching, any discharge from urethra, any swelling and redness over penis and any enlarged groin lymph node.
If all these are absent , then no need to worry and meet dermatologist on your scheduled visit.

Treatment is according to the cause. You should avoid latix condom , maintain adequate hygiene and use proper lubrication while having sex.

its almost healed right now so the picture isnt the best.. but i dont have any of those complaints. just simply goes dry if it is played with almost as if the skin is very weak.. is there a medication or somthing i can use to make the skin down there a little more strong

After reviewing the photographs and your answers to my queries , I am confident to say its not a worrisome thing. You should continue with your routine chores . If you are sexually active , do change the condoms.
Steroid ointments containing betamethasone you can apply. You will be fine.
If the condition recurs , then you and your partner need to be screened.
Maintain proper lubrication while having any sexual activity.
Stay calm and have a nice time.

i dont use condoms so thats not an issue.. but it got dry again today here is another picture.. is that steriod ointment something u need to perscribe to me..? one more pic this is whay it normally looks like dry

I saw the pictures and Yes, its eczema.As long as no itching , redness and swelling no need to worry. Just use the ointment along with the Vaseline.
