Suggest Treatment For Severe Fatigue And Breathlessness When Diagnosed With Jaundice
He is having mild jaundice.
Detailed Answer:
Thanks for your question on Health Care Magic.
I can understand your concern.
His liver reports are not very high. So he is having mild jaundice. No need to worry for severe jaundice.
Shortness of breath can be due to weakness or bronchitis. Possibility of viral infection is more. And viral infection can cause bronchitis and jaundice.
So better to get done clinical examination of respiratory system and PFT (Pulmonary Function Test) to rule out bronchitis. If bronchitis is there then he may need inhaled bronchodilators and inhaled corticosteroid (ICS).
Usual time of recovery in viral infection and jaundice is 3-4 weeks. So he will mostly improve in 7 days.
In diet he should take plenty of fluids orally with glucose. He can take fruit juice, sugar cane juice.
He should take multivitamin tablet containing folic acid, vitamin b 12, riboflavin and zinc. He can take appetizer tonic like syrup betonin or syrup activate.

See, bronchitis is less likely if he is not having coughing or Expectoration.
Weakness and fatigue do cause breathlessness.
But in respect with his jaundice (possible viral etiology), likelihood of bronchitis is more for his breathing difficulty.
