Question: Hi, I have taken Gabapentin for feet pain after toe surgery two years ago apparently continues to cause me foot pain particularly interfering with my sleep. i have trouble with side effects such as dizziness and sometimes speaking clearly. I took samples of Gralise from my GP which I found treated me all around better than Gabapentin. I called Depomed asking it to try to get Gralise covered by medical insurance but I was refused any help. Monthly costs of Gralise without insurance was about $800. Any suggestions0 XXXXXXX xxxxxxxxxx YYYY@YYYY 0000/0000-0000

Brief Answer:
Gralise and gabapentin are the same

Detailed Answer:
chemical. Gralise is put into a jaw breaker so that it is released slowly. It gives a constant amount. But the total amount of it might be different than the amount of gabapentin. First, if you get the same amount of each into you, they should have the same effect. The peak and lower amount levels will be slightly different even with the identical total amount. This can be changed by taking smaller amounts more frequently of the gabapentin (5-6 times a day?)
