I'm a 18 y/o male. I've been fighting with hairfall for over two years now. Initially I thought it would grow back but it didn't. I used to have unbelievably thick and lustrous hair but now that became the past. I'm losing my confidence day by day.
I'm thinking of a surgery before I lose everything so maybe I could get my hair back the way it used to be. Please Suggest the best options available for me.

Thanks for the photograph. What you have is classical Male pattern baldness (Androgenetic Alopecia). You have receding temporal hair line with very significant thinning of hair over top of your head. You do not have to go for surgery at this stage. You can try medical treatment first.
We have US FDA approved medications like minoxidil and finasteride for it but you need to take it for a long time as we cannot cure the genetic problem but can halt the process and improve the hair density and thickness. If you have dandruff, even that should be treated as dandruff can make Baldness progress faster.
You need to consult a dermatologist practicing trichology for starting the above medicines. It will take minimum 3 months for hair fall to stop and visible results to be observed. Maximum results will be seen after 1 year.
