Question : Hi,

I am suffering from hair fall problem. My side front hairs are falling so rapidly. I need help or suggestion to stop falling and regrow them.
Till now, i have not taken any action regarding this problem.
Please, reply me what can i do, I mean any oil/shampoo/medicine,etc.

Hi

Thank you for asking HCM.

I have gone through your query. From your history frontal , crown hair loss and young age it is most likely due to androgenetic alopecia ( male pattern hair loss ). This is due to increased DHT (dihydrotestosterone ) on scalp.

Various treatment are available for this. FDA approved treatment is using minoxidil solution 5 % on scalp. This can be used twice daily. But it should be used for long term like 4 months or more to get effects and should be continued also. Other oral drugs like finasteride is there but has side effects like erectile dysfunction.

You can use natural DHT inhibitors like saw palmetto supplements. This is available with other hair grow vitamins like biotin. You can take this

Using ketoconazole shampoo twice weekly is also good. Avoid stress and anxiety by meditation or breathing exercises.

There is also a new topical agent called capixyl which is also effective for male pattern hair loss.
