Detailed Answer:
Hello. Thank you for writing to us

I am dr.kakkar(dermatologist). I have gone through your query and i have noted your concern

You seem to have androgenetic alopecia which is characterised by hair loss and thining from the central part of scalp i.e front, mid and vertex of scalp as well as a receding anterior hair line and widening angles of anterior hair line. There is often a positive family history of early baldness in first degree relatives i.e father, brother. Even a positive family history in cousins, uncles is significant. Treatment measures that are approved for use in androgenetic alopecia are minixidil 5% solution and finasteride tablet. Minoxidil(Regaine 5%) is to be used twice daily on scalp skin, 1ml each time, with the help of a dropper. It should be applied after head wash and air drying scalp hair. Finasteride (finax) tablet is to be taken once daily.
