Suggest Treatment For Severe Hair Loss

Need more information
Detailed Answer:
Hello. Thank you for writing to us
I am dr.kakkar (dermatologist).
I have gone through your query and i have noted your concern.
Although androgenetic alopecia is the commonest cause of hair fall in males, another common cause is Telogen efluvium. While telogen effluvium has a preceding precipitating cause like a medical illness or surgery, androgenetic alopecia starts insidiously and progresses gradually in a genetically predisposed male.
I would like to know if there was a history of medical illness like e.g dengue, malaria, jaundice etc Or preceding surgery prior to onset of hair fall Or significant weight loss preceding onset of hair fall?
Is there a history of hair thinning, hair loss and early baldness in other male family members?
Is your hair loss and thinning mainly from the front and crown of the scalp or is it uniform all over the scalp?
Do you also notice that your anterior hair line is also receding gradually manifesting as a broad forehead?
Regards
