Suggest Treatment For Severe Headache And Eye Pain With Sensitivity To Sound

Question: A female friend on FB posted this "It feels like someone took 2 screwdrivers and jammed them into my eyeballs. As a bonus, whenever certain decibels are reached, my ears ring and pain radiates over the top and to the back of my head."

i have gone through your question and understand your concerns.
This type of severe headache and eye ache with sensitivity to sound may be found in migraine.
Associated features may be sensitivity to light , nausea, vomiting, throbbing character of headache.
If possible provide more clinical details.
Advice to take pain killers like naproxen or aceclofenac . Visit a neurologist for clinical examination and any investigations if required.

She was diagnosed with viral meningitis last week but all they gave her was pain meds. Can it be a reaction to the drugs?

Herpes related meningitis with zoster in facial area may lead to severe pain in this distribution.
Drug induced headache is uncommon.

What was her csf findings and brain imaging.
