Suggest Treatment For Severe Headache, Dizziness, Nausea And Chronic Back Pain
![default](/r/images/default.png)
I've got chronic back pain (2 surgeries - L5-Si in 1999 and L4 - L3 in 2012). Sometimes I get a bit nauseous when it's really bad, but nothing like the current situation)
I am generally a very active person - dog trainer, horse trainer, lots of hiking, resistance swimming, etc.
Take treatment as advised
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
I have gone through your question and understand your concerns.
You seem to suffering from migraine attack which is more severe than earlier episodes.
The management of migraine starts with precautions like timely food, proper sleep, avoiding triggers like fasting, stress, excessive tea or coffee or chocolate.
Pain killers like Naproxen or Aceclofenac can be taken as soon as headache starts.
Prophylaxis is needed if episodes are frequent involving 10-15 days in a month.
Drugs like Flunarizine, propranolol, Topiramate, Valproate, amitryptiline can be used for prophylaxis.
Visit and prescription from a neurologist is advised.
Abdominal discomfort may abate in a week.
Rest medications can be continued.
Hope you found the answer helpful.
