Suggest Treatment For Severe Headaches In A Person With Chronic Renal Failure
Question: My husband is 89 years old with chronic renal failure on dyalisis and in has been in rehab after spending 2 weeks in the hospital for a bacteria in his blood caused by abseses in his liver. He is having excruciating headaches while trying to sit up or stand also very dizzy. Could you please help, I am going crazy trying to find out what to do.

Considering Chronic renal failure and Liver abscess, a MRI of brain should be done, to rule out any brain infection.
Further, Adequate hydration should be maintained.Adequate hydration may prove to be helpful in alleviating his symptoms because these symptoms being increased in standing posture may indicate postural hypotension. BP in supine and standing may be compared for the same.
