Suggest Treatment For Severe Headaches
Question: I have have severe headaches the last 2 weeks that are very intense, Then about 5 days ago I started having a penile discharge that is irritating the top of the penis. I was Put on Doxycycline 2 x a day and have not seen any improvement as yet. I am herpes + for 1 and 2 and have had genital outbreaks 3 times this year. Could Herpes cause discharge like this , As I have not been sexually active for 3 months now Thanks

Let us talk about the penile discharge that is irritating the top of penis.
Since you are a known case of herpes with outbreaks and are already under treatment, the present problem can be a problem called balanoposthitis.
I hope you have a single sex partner.
The effective treatment is as follows:
Clean the area with plain water 2 to 4 times a day and and keep it dry with a pure cotton cloth or a dryer.
you may apply liquid Povidone Iodine locally or a Metronidazole cream- nothing else at all. We have seen no results with any other solution, cream or ointment. So do not try anything else; if you are using any, please stop it.
A course of antibiotic ( which you already are under ) with metrogyl orally for 5 to 7 days should help you to get a cure.
Please get your Blood Sugar checked.

I have Metronidazole in the pill form 250 mg Can I use that until I can get a script for the cream ?
