Question: Sir my wife has been suffering from continuous headache( specially left side) since last 15 days. After primary consultation with a local doctor Clotan 200 mg was prescribed but it did not relief the pain. Then we consulted a Neurologist and after EEG, MRI and Blood Tests ( reports attached) the doctor advised Tryptomer 25 mg and Ezact MR and she has been taking this for last 5 days. But head pain is still there!
Sir is it take long time to control this type of headache? What shall I do?

Brief Answer:
Headache may take 2-3 weeks to control

Detailed Answer:
Hello XXXXXXX XXXXXXX
I have gone through your question and understand your concerns.
New onset daily headache is to be evaluated properly regarding classification into primary or secondary headache.
If no fever, diplopia, visual loss, hearing abnormalities, ear discharge, nasal regurgitation, dysphagia, speech change is present then possibility of serious disease is less likely.

What is the intensity, character of headache.
Associated features, nausea, vomiting, photo phobia, phonophobia.
Precipitating and relieving factors.
Any stress or sleep deprivation.
Any redness of eyes, nasal stuffiness.
Any past history of headache
Any family history of migraine

As Mri, eeg is normal then nothing serious issue.
The drug prescribed is good and understand takes around two weeks for full action.
Other medications can also be added.
Please provide above details for additional drug advice.
Hope you found the answer helpful.
