Brief Answer:
Proper review, drugs with caution, See your Dr.

Detailed Answer:
Hi and thanks for the query,

Severe hypertension requires a detailed review to ascertain the main cause, especially if you do not have a family history of hypertension. It is important to screen for diabetes, kidney function, check for other risk factors, lipid profiles and blood cholesterol. Drugs choices prescribed shall take into consideration these various parameters for optimal outcomes. Drugs also need to be monitored for side effects and to measure the effectiveness. The proper clinical follow up by a Doctor remains critical.

Chronic disc disease might require an X ray , CT scans and a Magnetic Rasonance Imaging to better precise the properties and treatment option. Pain killers like non steroidal anti inflammatory drugs, steroids, morphines could be used. Injections and Physiotherapy might be required at some point in time. Surgery is reserved for very resistant cases.

Spams could be due to ion deficiencies , low calcium , magnesium or stretches in the muscle. Your blood Calcium levels deserve to be checked. If ok, muscle relaxants can be used or associated to your treatment protocol.

As you await to see your doctor, taking simple pain killers like NOn steroidal anti inflammatory drugs (Diclofenac, Ibuprofen), Morphines (Tramadol), myo relaxants (decontractyl) and a Benzodiazepine (Diazepam) in small doses to manage sleep disorder could be ok for now.

In case you have a history of gastritis or peptic ulcer disease, Proton pump inhibitors like Omeprazole can be associated. I strongly suggest you book an appointment with your treating physician.

Kind regards.
