Question: Hi Doctor,

I am working in a IT company. I am having itching in my eyes from last 3 days. This is very irritating. Eyes are completely red and water also coming. I am using ITONE eye drops but it is not providing any relief. Can you please help me.

The symptoms of itching in the eyes indicate allergy and or dryness of the eyes. This is commonly seen in people who work in IT companies with work involving the use of laptop or computers.

I would like to treat this condition by the use of artificial tears eye drops like Refresh tears eye drops one drop 3-5 times a day and antiallergic eye drops like Ocurest-AH for symptomatic relief.

Itone is an ayurvedic eye drops and it is also helpful but it takes times to start action and it may not be effective in acute conditions.
