Suggest Treatment For Severe Itching On Body

Possibility of skin infestation and allergic response
Detailed Answer:
My Dear Madam
Thanks for contacting us!
I am Dr V XXXXXXX A Dermatologist.
I have examined your pics and gone through details. I will be helping you in getting a durable relief at the earliest.
This appears to have been a skin infestation acquired through coming in contact with a person or sharing of bed linen used by such a person, which mostly occurs in public places or intimate contacts.
Since the skin is irritated at the moment, it has to be calmed first before applying the anti-infestation medication.
For patients attending in person, I advises them to adopt following measures:
1 Using Crotamiton and Hydrocortisone preparation (the two can be mixed), several times a day or when the problem resurfaces
2 Levocetrizine, an antilallergic, or a comparable compound 5-10 mg a day . The quantity can be adjusted to match needs
3 Single tablet of Ivermectin 12 mg only once.
4 After a week or so, when there is relief, go for weekly applications of GBHC, an anti-scabetic and follow detailed directions on the package. The said lotion needs to be applied neck downwards and after bath for at least 4 weeks. The contacts should also apply the same as there can be a source in the family or dwelling place.
These measures should take care of the problem. One must be observant to notice if there is an increased activity after some food, activity, or a particular environment so that appropriate measures can be taken.
I will be glad to answer any queries that you have. Please accept our best wishes for you recovery and great health.
Thanks

Urticaria following infestation is knwon to pressent like this
Detailed Answer:
Dear Madam,
Thanks for your query.
Dermographism and urticaria are very close in their presentation. In a good number of cases in my practice I come across patients where a skin infestation leads to urticaria, after some weeks have elapsed. This can be explained by the body's response to certain allergy inducing antigens due to the infection itself.
The nocturnal itching, especially if it occurs in areas in softer areas and becomes pronounced after evenings and in the night very strongly favors scabies which can have little or sometimes no visible signs of the infection except for the wheals or hives of urticaria.
Most such cases respond very well to the treatment whose outline I have given above.
Another important fact that I would like to share with you is that scabies can affect anyone irrespective of the age, social status, and level of seemingly good hygiene.
I hope you will use this information to your best advantage. I would be glad to answer any queries.
Our good wishes.
