Suggest Treatment For Severe Itching On Buttocks, Inner Thigh And Scrotum
Question: Hi
I am 28 years old married male. I feel severe etching in between my Legs(buttocks) , inner thighs, on scortum and sometimes on penis as well.
there are no rashes or anything like that just etching and this etching is more severe in nights and when I wake up. I don't have any know skin condition and I take showers everyday and change clothes every second day
I have this problem since I can remember. I never used any medication or treatment for that. All I want to know is what could be the reason and what's it's cure. Thank you in advance

I understand your concern
The itching in your inner thighs. buttocks and scrotum can be either due to fungal infection (Tinea) or dermatitis.
Proper examination by the dermatologist will helpful to find exact cause.
Take following advises:
Keep the area clean and dry.
Avoid too much exposure to water and sweat formation
Take tablet cetrizine at the bedtime to reduce itching
Apply topical antifungal cream like clotrimazole
Oral TERBINAFINE tablet for 2 week
Avoid wearing tight undergarments and trousers, as it will cause sweating
Bathe before bedtime.
Moisturize the skin with fragrance-free moisturizer.
Maintain the room temperature comfortable and cool.
Change the bed linen on 2nd to 3rd day.
