But depression persisted for 1 month with suicidal thoughts , what about ear wax n ear itching , it may be liver problem yes ?
Brief Answer:
treatment of depression should be done
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Depression must be treated if it is persisted for 1 month.
Treatment of depression includes both medicines and psychotherapy.
In psychotherapy I prefer cognitive behavior therapy (CBT).In mild cases only CBT is sufficient. In moderate to severe cases initially medicines and then CBT is added. And later on medicines stopped gradually.
In medicines SSRI group of drugs (fluoxetine, paroxetine, sertraline, escitalopram) are main stay of the treatment. There are other group of drugs as well with different mechanisms and excellent results.
Benzodiazepines group of drugs (clonazeapm, lorazepam or etizolam) are used initially for short duration for fast symptomatic relief.
One can stop medicines gradually after 100% recovery according to doctor's guidance.
Consulting a psychiatrist personally will surely help you to live better life.
Ear wax is not a big issue. It is possible that sometime wax is not coming out completely and accumulated in ear which in turn leads to itching. You just can go to doctor for examination. Ear can be cleaned and drops can be given.
Problem of indigestion is frequent then liver problem may be there however for diagnosing exact cause liver function tests and ultrasound investigations are required.
Take care.
