Brief Answer:
You seem to have atrophic vaginitis. Details below.

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Welcome to Healthcare Magic.
I am Dr Ramadevi Wani.
I appreciate your concerns.

Since you have not mentioned about any discharge I do not think that it is yeast infection.
Due to low estrogen levels in the body around this age the vulval and vaginal skin become thin and are prone to itch ( atrophic vaginitis). Since you have not written any thing about discharge I presume this could be the cause in your case. This vulval itch may be causing you the feeling of urinating frequently.

Are the bumps purplish in colour? If so then it could be a condition called Lichen Planus. Lichen Planus is a inflammatory skin condition.
May be the bumps could just be infection of hair follicle which have resulted from skin scratching.

If you any whitish patches in the vulval area, it suggests the possibility of lichen sclerosis.
I advise you to consult the Gynecologist/Vulvar clinic doctor for examination. If it is confirmed to be atrophic vaginitis, she will prescribe estrogen cream.
If there are any purple/ whitish patches, she may advise you to have vulval biopsy.
She may also prescribe antihistamines for few days to reduce the itching at night.
I advise you to follow the measures below to ease the itching:
-Wear cotton undergarments and change them twice daily.
- Do not wear tight fitting trousers/shorts
- Do not rub the vulval skin vigorously while bathing. It may aggravate the itch.
-Use moisturizer bland soaps. Dry the vulval skin gently and completely using soft towel after bath before wearing undergarments.
I hope this helps. If you have further concerns, I will be happy to answer.
