Suggest Treatment For Severe Joint Pain

default
Posted on Thu, 13 Apr 2017
Question: I woke up at 1:52 AM on Monday with severe joint pain in multiple joints (Ankles, Knees, Wrists and Elbows). I am a 61 year old male in pretty good shape. I have had both knees replaced, the latest was December of 2011; I've never had an issues with the replaced knees. The pain is all but gone in my Ankles, Wrists and Elbows but the knees are still very sore.
There was nothing unusual done (physically speaking) on the day or days prior joint pain.
Any thoughts? Could being bit by a Black Widow Spider have caused this pain to multiple joints?

Brief Answer:
Can be due to spider bite.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for posting your query.
A pain in multiple joints can be due to spider bite a generalised viral infection decrease in calcium and vitamin D3 levels or due to osteoarthritis. You need rest and mild pain killers to take care of these. it should subside gradually in a week. in case the pain persists then do consult an orthopedician for proper examination and stronger prescription medicines.
I hope this answers your query.
