Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for posting your query in HealthcareMagic,
From the description that you have provided, you seem to be having two conditions which is co-existing, which seems to be the cause for joint pains at such an early age.
I will detail you on the different conditions as follows:
- Vitamin D deficiency: It is quite normal to find vitamin D deficiency in many patients. Sufficient amounts of vitamin D is necessary for bone growth. If you find to have deficiency, vitamin D supplements can be taken to replenish it.
- Gout- which is the name of the condition caused by increased levels of uric acid in the blood. Causes can be overweight, consuming high amounts of meat and fish, some medicines like diuretics. You are required to take anti gout tablets to reduce the uric acid elements in blood. You are advised to avoid meat like beef, pork, lamb, chicken liver, alcohol.
I hope this helps,
Please feel free to discuss further,
Regards
