Question : I am having severe pain in my right knee. There are two pieces of something moving under the skin by my kneecap. What could the "pieces" be and how important is it to be checked quickly?

The pain in the knee joint that you have can be due to osteoarthritis or decreased joint lubricants. The hard pieces under the skin can be due to sesamoid bones or inflamed bursae.
