Suggest Treatment For Severe Lower Back Pain
Question: Doctor,
I am a Male, age :28 , last year I had low back pain on doing some exercises and on consultant a ortho doctor he prescription me some medicines with some phsiothraphy exercises. The pain got reduced in three days and we found l3,l4 disc abducting the nerve root through x ray. Now on doing some simple exercises I had developed pain again. This time iam having pain that I could not walk freely and stand for more time. Bottom low back is paining and some times back thigh is also paining Sir. I had taken the same tablets prescribed but no improvement in past five days. I have taken dolonex dt and rabepride tablets. Kindly advice me what could be the problem. Iam scared and not ready mentally for any operation Sir. Pls advice.

You must do Physiotherapy for atleast 6 months. Avoid bending forwards or lifting weights. Apply hot packs to the affected region. Take pain killers.
If this does not subside then. Get an MRI Scan of Spine to find out how much compression of nerve roots are there and the need for surgery. Could be that your slip down has progressed
